Sony and Wayfarer Studios' *It Ends with Us*, a standout romance drama of the summer, has surpassed $100 million at the domestic box office within just 11 days of its release.

This film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel, which delves into the emotional struggles of a young woman facing domestic abuse, is on track to become Blake Lively’s highest-grossing live-action movie in the domestic market—excluding her roles in *Deadpool* and *Wolverine*. The movie is set to surpass Lively’s current record-holder, 2011’s *Green Lantern*, which earned $116.6 million domestically.

For Justin Baldoni, who both stars in and directs the film, *It Ends with Us* is already the highest-grossing movie of his career.

The movie earned $2.8 million on Monday across 3,739 theaters, securing the third spot among all films that day. This brings the film’s total domestic gross to $100.4 million. Globally, the movie has accumulated $180 million as of last weekend.

Danielle Misher, Sony Pictures Co-Head of Global Theatrical Marketing, expressed her excitement, saying, "This remarkable result is a true testament to the strength of female-driven stories and the impact of original films at the box office. We’re incredibly proud of the nuanced and layered marketing campaign that celebrated female agency and triumph."

Meanwhile, 20th Century Studios’ *Alien: Romulus* topped the box office yesterday, earning $3.7 million across 3,885 locations, following a strong $42 million opening weekend. Directed by Fede Alvarez, the sequel has now reached a cumulative total of $45.7 million.

Disney/Marvel Studios’ *Deadpool & Wolverine* secured the second spot at the box office on Monday, bringing in $3 million and raising its total domestic gross to $549.9 million. The final domestic earnings for the Ryan Reynolds-Hugh Jackman film are projected to land between $625 million and $650 million.

Currently, Disney’s *Inside Out 2* holds the title of the top-grossing movie of 2024 in the U.S., with a total of $642.9 million. Last summer’s blockbuster *Barbie* concluded its box office run with an impressive $636.2 million.
