Michael Polansky might be focused on Lady Gaga, but our attention is on that headpiece.
When it comes to red carpet fashion, Lady Gaga always goes all in—whether she's wearing an avant-garde creation made of car parts or an Old Hollywood-inspired Valentino gown. So it’s no surprise that she brought her trademark dramatic flair to the Venice Film Festival today. Promoting *Joker: Folie à Deux* with co-star Joaquin Phoenix, Gaga dazzled with her iconic "Mother Monster" style. The dark romance and that headpiece were pure statement pieces. To top it off, she and fiancé Michael Polansky made their debut as a couple on the red carpet.
Gaga selected a striking sculptural gown by Dior, which reimagined the classic silhouette with a plunging neckline and a voluminous, scalloped skirt. The dramatic hemline demands the presence of a star like Gaga to truly shine. Complementing the gown was a theatrical lace headpiece designed by renowned milliner Philip Treacy. For jewelry, Gaga chose sparkling pieces from Tiffany & Co., including a platinum and 18-karat yellow gold necklace adorned with diamonds, matching platinum and diamond earrings, and the Victoria bracelet, also in platinum and diamonds.
